Articles & Publications

I have written articles for practitioners and educational researchers. Some of my peer-reviewed publications have been featured as chapters in edited books and the focus of national presentations. I have presented at a number local, state, and national conferences. Some of my speaking engagements focused on research and others covered projects that I completed with teaching colleagues. A highlight of 2017 was being invited to share the Arduino Water Testing Station at World Maker Faire in New York City.

Grants & Awards

As a graduate fellow at the University of Virginia, I managed research protocols, IRB submissions, and data collection for a number of large grants issued by the MacArthur Foundation, Institute for Education Sciences, and National Science Foundation. I have also been recognized for my work in higher education and public school settings.

Service & Affiliations

I share my talents and love for educational technology with other people. Whether it is helping new teachers learn to use school-based tools or facilitating workshops on cutting-edge technologies, I contribute to causes and organization that support teaching and learning.
