Featured Experience: Sixth Grade Teaher

I taught sixth grade in a self-contained classroom at Trinity School in Atlanta, GA. My teaching responsibilities included social studies, language arts, and character education. I worked to incorporate many types of technologies in my classroom. Examples included the use of SMARTboard technologies, video, audio, digital imagery, and GPS units. Webmaster

I helped create, implement, and manage Trinity School’s website. Trinity’s website incorporates “web 2.0″ features like a customized wiki for collaborative projects, an integrated blog platform for students and teachers, and numerouse online videos.

Video Production Teacher

I oversaw Trinity School’s student-run TV broadcast in addition to shooting and producing a variety of videos for the school community. Most of the videos that I created are in Trinity’s web archive which now contains +75 videos!

Technology Specialist

Prior to working as Trinity’s Webmaster and Video Production Studio Teacher, I helped teachers integrate technology into their classroom practice. This included creating simplified instructions for common applications.
